Jharkhand Literary Meet from December 8-9
The second edition of the two-day Jharkhand Literary Meet will be organised by Tata Steel Limited on December 8 and 9 in Ranchi where renowned authors and laureates from across the country, including Ruskin Bond, will also participate. According to festival director Malavika Banerjee, local authors from the region, like Mahadev Toppo, Mohua Maji and Anuj Lugun will also be among the participants. Banerjee said the meet was started in 2017 so that a culturally rich Jharkhand must have its own festival celebrating literature and allied cultural pursuits including dance, music, recitation, cinema and theatrical performances. The focus has been to engage premier authors, speakers and performance artists from the region and across India.
