T3 India - - How Technology Is Changing Football -

Some American sports have adopted Intel’s True View technology but LaLiga is the only football league in the world to deploy Intel’s advanced tech that elevates sports watching to more exciting heights. Stadiums with Intel True View are equipped with 38 cameras all across the playing field to give a 360-degree video experience. The 5K cameras strategically placed in the stadium capture the video, process through the in-stadium servers and reproduce the visuals in 3D for a better viewing experience. The important thing with True View is that the content that is shown to the viewers is curated. This means, only key moments are shown to the viewer like the “Be The Player” perspective that allows the viewer to see a goal or a save through the eyes of another player, or a laser wall for a better offside accuracy. 3D-created, of course.

True View cameras are currently installed in at the Camp Nou (FC Barcelona), the Santiago Bernabeu (Real Madrid), the Wanda Metropolitano (Atletico de Madrid) and the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan (Sevilla Football Club) but will soon find its way to two more stadiums - San Mames (Athletic de Bilbao) and Mestalla (Valencia CF).
