The Nikon Z series includes two full-frame mirrorless cameras each, namely the mid-end Z6 and the highend Z7. Both are powered by the Expeed 6 image processing engine having a backside illuminated CMOS sensor with focal-plane PDAF pixels and an OLED panel EVF having a magnification of 100 per cent and 0.8 times with about 37-degree diagonal viewing angle. While the Z7 comes with a 45.7MP sensor supporting ISO 64-25600 range, the Z6 bears a 24.5MP sensor having an ISO range of 100-51200. The Z7 has 493 focus points and the Z6 makes do with 273 that cover 90 per cent of the imaging area horizontally and vertically. The eyepiece protection window has a fluorine coating that helps repel dirt. The models provide in-body stabilisation or vibration reduction attesting up to five stops efficiency with native Nikon Z lenses and three stops with adapted Nikon F lenses.
T3 Says: There are also three new Nikkor Z lenses including the standard zoom Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/4 S, wide-angle prime Nikkor Z 35mm f/1.8 S and standard prime Nikkor Z 50mm f/1.8 S.
