Adil Hasan is an Indian documentary photographer. His work The TV series comprises a powerful set of images that show a television as part of every house, every street, ingrained in the social fabric of society. The tinted pictures document how a television set has changed the way we see the world. Hasan’s work in Our Own portrays single working professionals living in cramped city apartments. Familiarity with the location has allowed him to make good use of diptychs and light variation. We Live Here Too is slightly more figurative, with objects accompanying the human subjects.
