Sarfaraz Khan, the actor who was seen in films like Tere Naam, Wanted and Maine Dil Tujhko Diya, disappeared from the big screen for a good four to five years. Son of veteran actor Kader Khan, Sarfaraz went to the US to study theatre and film making. Upon his return, he bagged a meaty role in the soonto- be- released Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara . In the film he plays a character inspired by real life gangster Chhota Rajan. The grey shades of the character prompted Sarfaraz to take up the offer.

and I had to do a lot of research on the character and his mannerisms. Thankfully, it has shaped up beautifully and I’m looking forward to the release of the film now.”

Sarfaraz’s character is the only one that has been carried forward from the original besides Prachi Desai’s character, which has been essayed by Sonali Bendre in the sequel. Sarfaraz will take over the character of one of Emraan Hashmi’s friends from the original film who grows up to become Chhota Rajan.
