Creature 3D is in the

league of Jurassic Park

Right in the middle of her forth coming movie Creature 3D’s promotions, the sexy and bold Bipasha Basu was in the capital to promote a cause that is close to her heart: Airtel Delhi Half Marathon. Known to be a passionate fitness enthusiast, this is Bipasha’s fifth consecutive year of participating at this event. “I love being a part of this extravagant marathon as this gives me a huge platform to propagate my life’s philosophy: ‘ Love Yourself ’. Being a part of this event motivates me for the entire year as I not only get to witness so many people from all age groups, castes and creed participating but also I get to feel the electric energy of Delhi. It is really wonderful. My brigade is the women’s brigade where we appeal to the women of our country to love themselves. We teach them that if the woman of the house stays fit, then it will eventually mean having and maintaining a healthy family, a healthier society leading to achieving a healthiest nation.” Bips is renowned for her toned body, so what is her fitness mantra? “I am a fitness enthusi- ast, not a freak. However, I understand the need to invest in health. I feel it is the basic and key investment every human being should be able to make. I love being healthy. I feel if you have a calm mind, you perform better. You are better lover and a better giver if you are fit. So for me it’s a wise choice. Fitness is as important as brushing my teeth,” she emphasises.

Talking about her upcoming film, Bipasha confesses that she is a little anxious before the release of India’s first creature-feature Creature 3D. “When you are doing something which is very new, you tend to be a little anxious. In India, nobody understands the meaning of a creature feature. So we are a little perplexed on how to promote the movie. It’s not like any other film. We are trying our best to make people understand everything about the movie. It’s not a supernatural film but more in the league of Jurassic Park and Anaconda. It’s going to give you thrills and it’s in the 3D format.”

Revealing more about her role she shares, “I play a girl called Ahana who takes all her life’s earnings and savings into building a hotel in the middle of nowhere. She doesn’t have anybody in her life and is a lonely and sensitive soul. She is vulnerable yet she knows how to do her job well. Every girl will connect with Ahana because it is a story of an independent gal who puts her heart and soul into one thing and when suddenly it starts falling apart she rises to the occasion to make things right. And here she has to fight a beast which is an unknown animal.”

For the movie Basu is teaming up with Bhatt after a long time. “Vikram Bhatt is responsible for me being an actor today,” she declares and adds, “I was all set to go back to my college after my second film Raaz and he was the one who sat me down every day and convinced me that I had the ability to act. And thanks to him that I am a successful actor today and this is my 15th year in the industry and it still feels as wonderful as my very first day in the business.”

Apart from Creature, Bipasha has another forthcoming movie called Alone directed by Bhushan Patel paired opposite Karan Singh Grover. “It is a supernatural thriller and a passionate love story. For the first time I am playing conjoined twins. Also, after a long time, audience will get to see me in passionate love scenes. It’s not your typical school or college kind of romance but real man and a woman romance. I am looking forward to it,” she informs.
