BSP founder member joins BJP
Lucknow: Former minister and one of the founder members of the Bahujan Samaj Party, Dinanath Bhaskar, has joined the BJP. A formal announcement of this will be made shortly. Mr Bhaskar had resigned from the BSP about a month ago. “I resigned from the BSP on April 4 and after discussing the issue with my supporters, I have joined the BJP. A formal announcement of this will be made at a public function soon,” he told reporters in Bhadohi on Monday. Mr Bhaskar said he was hopeful of contesting the 2017 Assembly elections on a BJP ticket.
