DDD tunes not the best

While there’s been a lot of hype around the music of Dil Dhadakne Do ( three songs have been released so far: The title track, Galla Goodiyan and Pehli Baar) we found that listeners have actually had a pretty mixed response to it. Many believe that this isn’t Shankar- Ehsaan- Loy’s best effort, although others feel the songs do have a certain energy and vibe. We rounded up feedback to the tracks on YouTube. Does your opinion match with theirs?

TRACK: GALLA GOODIYAN

Kartikeya Juneja: “It’s a very bad song. Shankar- Ehsaan- Loy ( have made) rubbish music.” Mayur Sanap: “Music of # DDD seems weirder with every new song. Hope the movie doesn’t disappoint. Ritesh Purohit: Bakwaas gaana hai, so disappointed! ZNMD ke kya gaane hain! Even Luck By Chance had better songs. Sarvesh Dubey: Such a nice song… full of energy. Lovely! Nabila Shabbir Askouri: I was waiting for this song since the trailer came out because it plays in the background. Love Punjabi music! Karan: Wow, that was amazing! If you look at the video carefully, you’ll see that there is no cut. The camera is rolling without any stops.

Maitrayie Mishra: My mom has had flu for a week — she still sounds better than Farhan Akhtar! Umair Iqbal: Shankar should have sung ( the song) himself...

TRACK: PEHLI BAAR

Raeesa Iqbal: This is a catchy song and I like it, but it can’t be compared to ZNMD! Anonymous: I agree that this album is not Shankar- Ehsaan- Loy’s best work. But this song is the best in the album. I’m getting a feel of ZNMD from this.
