TAGORE’S RAGAS

Shreya Ghosal and classical exponent Kaushiki Chakraborty have lent their voices to the film version of Rabindranath Tagore’s novel Jogajog, which is based on Indian raga music. Set to release on Tagore’s 154th birth anniversary on May 8, the film touches upon several social issues. It also features singers Jayati Chakraborty, actorsingers Shaheb Chatterjee, Arjun Chakraborty and Shuvolagna, who have all rendered Tagore’s raga- based compositions in the film.
