Five hurt in attack on Kenyan police
Kampala, Uganda: AlShebab gunmen attacked the Kenyan police vehicles near Somalia’s border, injuring at least five officers and burning five cars, the police
said on Tuesday. A statement signed by police chief J. K. Boinnet said two officers were critically injured and three others sustained minor injuries in the attack in the northeastern Garissa county. The Garissa police commander Shadrack Mait
hya said at least 13 police officers who had been miss
ing following the attack had since been accounted for. Two of the attackers were killed, he said. It is believed Al- Shebab militants
attacked the officers in 3 land cruisers sending them
