TaxiForSure inks pact with Paytm

-

TaxiForSure on Tuesday announced the launch of its revamped mobile app through which, the company claimed, customers can make bookings for cabs with a single tap. The company has also partenered with Paytm to make cashless transaction for taxi rides.

The company said that the new app, the average time taken to book a cab will come down to approximately seven seconds from the existing 15- 20 seconds.

“Technology has always been our forte and we are continuously investing in it to ensure customers a seamless experience. The enhanced app as well as our strategic partnership with Paytm are aimed at providing a good experience when the customers transact with us,” Arvind Singhal, CEO, TaxiForSure, said.

The company is also doing away with its peak time surcharge.

“We used to add peak time charges of ` 50 during peak hours in the morning and evening. Now, we are doing away with it,” Mr Singhal said.

This, however, will not affect the business of Ola Cabs, which recently acquired TaxiForSure and continues to levy a peak time charge, he said.
