Final Fantasy X- 2 is a fun, compelling sequel
Final Fantasy X is a PS2 classic, and was released last year as an HD Remaster for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita along with its sequel Final
Fantasy X- 2. The collection was recently released for the PlayStation 4, offering easily over a hundred hours of gameplay as you relive the journey of Tidus and Yuna.
Final Fantasy X is known for its emotional highs and will make you cry on numerous occasions, even with its terrible voice acting. Its a way back home. The battle system is turn based, and levelling up relies on Sphere Grids, where each member of your party must unlock nodes along a set path to increase their stats and unlock new abilities. X- 2 features an active time battle system and becomes more lighthearted. There are massive stylistic changes in this sequel, which may feel strange and out of place after FFX. The PlayStation 4 version makes the colours more vibrant and offers both
the original and arranged soundtrack.
Final Fantasy X and X2 are both great, but for completely different reasons. FFX has a better story but X- 2 has a better battle system. Regardless, it’s a great collection of one compelling journey and another less renowned, yet fun sequel. This is the definitive way to play Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X- 2.
