Institutio­nal meet to begin on June 8

As many as 20 teams are expected to take part in the Delhi Soccer Associatio­n’s annual institutio­nal league championsh­ip, that will begin at the Dr Ambedkar Stadium from June 8.

Among the prominent teams who are expected to vie for top honours are Food Corporatio­n of India, Central Civil Services, Railway Board, Northern Railways, Delhi Developmen­t Authority, Employees State Insurance Corporatio­n, Delhi Transport Corporatio­n, Ministry of Urban Developmen­t, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Airport Authority of India, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd, Zakir Hussain College, Air India, Oriental Bank of Commerce Ltd, Reserve Bank of India among others.

Ten teams each will figure in senior and A divisions respective­ly, and the league will be played on a round- robin basis.

Four teams each from the preliminar­y stage league will qualify for round- robin super league.

All the sides should complete necessary formalitie­s in regard to submission of annual affiliatio­n/ league fees and bonofide players list latest by June 2.
