Institutional meet to begin on June 8
As many as 20 teams are expected to take part in the Delhi Soccer Association’s annual institutional league championship, that will begin at the Dr Ambedkar Stadium from June 8.
Among the prominent teams who are expected to vie for top honours are Food Corporation of India, Central Civil Services, Railway Board, Northern Railways, Delhi Development Authority, Employees State Insurance Corporation, Delhi Transport Corporation, Ministry of Urban Development, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Airport Authority of India, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd, Zakir Hussain College, Air India, Oriental Bank of Commerce Ltd, Reserve Bank of India among others.
Ten teams each will figure in senior and A divisions respectively, and the league will be played on a round- robin basis.
Four teams each from the preliminary stage league will qualify for round- robin super league.
All the sides should complete necessary formalities in regard to submission of annual affiliation/ league fees and bonofide players list latest by June 2.
