LEGACY OF FREEDOM

MAY 25 was the 129th birth anniversary of great Indian revolutionary Rashbehari Bose. While the Modi government has made it a policy to honour forgotten heroes of the freedom movement, Bose’s sacrifice while trying to liberate India from British imperialism has been forgotten. He played a major role in the Ghadar Revolution in 1915 and left India for Japan to lobby for support for India’s struggle for freedom. It is time independent India remembered all its heroes.
