Republican nominee: Hillary should have congratulated me in her speech

Trashing his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton’s speech as “average”, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has said that he was taking the gloves off and he will be no more “Mr Nice Guy.”
“It’s interesting, every time I mention her, everyone screams ‘ lock her up,’ and you know what? I’ve been nice but after that performance last night, I don’t have to be so nice anymore. I’m taking the gloves off,” Mr Trump told his supporters at an election rally in Colorado.
Making his first public appearance a day after Ms Clinton delivered her acceptance speech to become the presidential nominee of the Democratic party, Mr Trump said there will be “no more Mr Nice guy” in the race to the White House.
One of the two ( Trump and Clinton) winners of the November general elections would be sworn in as the next President of the United States on January 20, 2017.
“You know what I’ve been saying? I’ve been saying, let’s just beat her in November. But you know what? You know what? I’m starting to agree with you,” he said.
Mr Trump said Ms Clinton should have congratulated him in her acceptance speech in Philadelphia. The billionaire from New York said he watched Ms Clinton’s speech out of curiosity.
“I was curious to see whether she would do a class act and not mention my name or mention it with respect,” Mr
Trump said and then he imitated Ms Clinton.
“I would like to congratulate my Republican opponent for having something that nobody has ever done in the history of politics in this nation. And I would like to congratulate my opponent for having gotten more votes than anybody in the history of the Republican Party in the primary season,” Mr Trump said imitating his Democratic rival.
“I thought she might do something like that. I thought she’d give me a big, fat, beautiful congratulations. If she did that, wouldn’t that be cool? Wouldn’t that be great?” he said.
At another election rally, Mr Trump was critical of other speakers at the Democratic National Convention which concluded in Philadelphia on Thursday.
“I was gonna hit a number of those speakers so hard their heads would spin. They’d never recover,” he said.
He described Gen John Allen ( Retd), who was highly critical of him in his Philadelphia speech, as a failed general.
