UP Budget Session to begin Tuesday

Lucknow: The Budget Session for the current financial year in Uttar Pradesh will begin from Tuesday and the State Budget for 2017-2018 will be presented on the same day. According to Speaker Hriday Narain Dixit, there will be 13 sittings of the House in the Session which will conclude on July 28. This will be the first Budget Session of the Yogi Adityanath government. The government had convened a brief session of the State Legislature on May 15 to pass the bill ratifying the GST. The Opposition, comprising the SP, the Bahujan Samaj Party and the Congress are preparing to raise issues like poor law and order situtaion and soaring crime graph during the Budget Session.
