Council boss sacked for rant about Prince George

A British Council boss sacked over a shocking Facebook rant about Prince George is suing her former employer for discrimination.

Angela Gibbins, former head of global estates at the charity, was suspended and later fired after branding the royal tot “white privilege”.

Ms Gibbins commented on a picture of Prince which someone had captioned:

has involved joining the Blues and Royals and becoming the first black British Army officer to be commissioned into the “I know he’s only two years old, but Prince George already looks like a f——— d———-.”

The British Council said her alleged comments were not representative of the organisation’s views.

Ms Gibbins took the organisation to employment tribunal, claiming unfair dismissal, wrongful dismissal and ‘belief discrimination’, the Daily Mail reported. — Agencies
