ARNAUTOVIC SET FOR HAMMERS MOVE

London, July 19: Austrian internatio­nal forward Marko Arnautovic is to undergo a medical at West Ham United after the London club agreed a £24 million ($31 million, 27 million euros) fee with Stoke City.

West Ham had two previous bids rejected for the 28-year-old, but Stoke have decided to cash in after the Austrian expressed a desire to leave the Midlands club.

Arnautovic only signed a new four-year deal at Stoke 12 months ago, but handed in a transfer request last week to force through a move.

He joined the Potters four years ago from German side Werder Bremen for just £2 million, and has become an integral part of their side, scoring 26 goals in over 100 appearance­s.

Foxes land Jakupovic Leicester: Leicester City have snapped up goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic from Hull City for an undisclose­d fee, both clubs confirmed Wednesday. The 2015/16 Premier League champions have brought in the Bosnian-born Swiss on a three-year deal, with the fee in the region of £2.5 million, according to British media reports. The 32year-old left the Tigers’ Portuguese training camp at the weekend to finalise the move, and he’s now been confirmed as the East Midlands club’s third summer signing, following in the footsteps of former Hull team-mate Harry Maguire and Vicente Iborra, who arrived from Sevilla.

Juventus poised to sign De Sciglio Milan: AC Milan full back Mattia De Sciglio is undergoing a medical at Juventus ahead of a potential move to the Turinbased club, the Italian champions said on Wednesday (www.Juventus.Com).

The 24-year-old Italy internatio­nal, who has been capped 31 times, was expected to join Juventus for a fee of around 12 million euros ($13.84 million), according to Italian media.

The proposed move would be the first in the career of the AC Milan youth product, who made his profession­al debut in 2011 and has 110 league appearance­s for the club.

‘Aubameyang will not be sold’ Dortmund: German side Borussia Dortmund will not sell prolific striker PierreEmer­ick Aubameyang after the 28-year-old failed to make a decision within a deadline provided by the club, the team’s sporting director Michael Zorc has said.

British and German media reports on Sunday said that Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke had

given Aubameyang, who scored 31 league goals in 32 games last season, a deadline to decide on his future, which has now expired.

“We consider the transfer window closed. The timing (of it all) was decisive in the end,” Zorc told German magazine Kicker on Tuesday.
