CR7, GEORGINA IN FAMILY SNAP

Real Madrid’s 2-2 draw with Valencia would have been painful viewing for the suspended Cristiano Ronaldo, but the Portuguese found a nice way to fill his time by getting in a ‘family mood’.

While his team-mates were busy fighting for a point at the Bernabeu, Ronaldo posed for a touching family photo with girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez, Cristiano Ronaldo Jnr and his new twins Mateo and Eva Maria Dos Santos.

The 32-year-old included the simple caption ‘Family mood’ with the snap and it has unsurprisingly become one of his most popular posts ever, generating over 5.2 million likes in the 12 hours since it was posted.

The popularity is down to the fact that this was the latest sighting of the newest additions to the Ronaldo clan, Mateo and Eva, who arrived in his arms earlier this summer after they were born via an unknown surrogate mother in California.

And the family may be set to grow even larger as Rodriguez, 22, is rumoured to be pregnant herself with reports emerging in June that she was expecting her first child with the free-scoring Portugal international.

Ronaldo is currently serving a five-game suspension for pushing a referee and Zinedine Zidane’s men suffered in his absence as they let two points slip at home against Valencia which ended their winning streak that dated back to the end of last season.
