Bihar to widen state highways

Patna: A high level meeting chaired by chief minister Nitish Kumar here today decided to widen all state highways into two lanes. In accordance with the decision, a total of 1,320 km of roads out of a total of 4,005 km in the state would be widened, an official statement said here. The review meeting of the road construction department also decided to construct additional bridges on the Indo-Nepal border as some of them being were damaged.
