LRC Club seal quarters spot

New Delhi: Pratyush Singh’s 92 and good bowling by Yogesh Sharma (4/6) helped Lala Ram Charan Club beat Pelican Club by seven wickets in the pre-quarterfinals of the 1st Vishnu Swaroop Tripathi Memorial cricket tournament here on Wednesday.

Pelican Club took first strike and were bowled out for 132 in 33.5 overs. Besides Sharma, Prince Chaudhary picked up 3/51.

In reply, Lala Ram Charan Club rode on Singh’s knock to scale down the target in 27.2 overs.
