Mayweather splashes the cash

-

Floyd Mayweather has wasted no time in dipping into the $300 million (£232 million) that he made in his victory over Conor McGregor on Saturday night.

The 40-year-old stopped the UFC superstar in the 10th round in Las Vegas to end his professional career with an unmatched record of 50-0.

And he has been quick to share his success with his fiercely loyal entourage, splashing out a small fortune on Gucci shoes for nine of them.

‘Took nine of them shoe shopping today,’ the Money Team leader wrote alongside a picture of himself holding a massive receipt outside the luxury clothing store.

Mayweather looks to be enjoying his second retirement, having taken part in a charity basketball game on Sunday as well as sharing videos of himself at his strip club over the past few days.

The future Hall of Famer weathered an early storm from mixed martial artist McGregor to pick him apart and finish him in the latter rounds.

And he insists his days in the ring are over, whilst urging the Irishman to return to more familiar territory.
