Kate quits showbiz for Rio and kids

-

Former TOWIE star Kate Wright has revealed she is quitting the limelight to focus on her boyfriend Rio Ferdinand and his three children.

Speaking for the first time about their widely-discussed relationship, she told the Sun: “I’m taking a step back from the public eye, I want to keep my life private as I lived my previous relationship on TOWIE, my priority right now is Rio and the family.”

The pair have gone from strength to strength since going public with their romance earlier this summer. Just weeks ago they shared their first snaps to social media, having remained relatively elusive about their blossoming romance.

After soaring to fame on TOWIE in 2015, when she was introduced as the exgirlfriend of show heartthrob Dan Edgar, she became a fan favourite, with her sizzling figure and girl's girl personality winning hearts.

Despite two years of fame, winning various lucrative contracts and garnering 682,000 Instagram followers, she confirmed her time in the spotlight is up as she moves towards looking after Lorenz, 11, Tate, nine, and Tia, six.

A friend told the publication: “Kate left TOWIE because she wanted to be away from the limelight. She hopes having no links with brands and no longer being on TV will help give her the quiet life she longs for with her new family.”
