Bouncers rob house, attack women
A gang of bouncers allegedly barged in a house in Chhatrapur, South Delhi, in broad daylight on Wednesday afternoon and made away with valuables worth several lakhs of rupees.
It was also learnt that the alleged bouncers also assaulted women and children present at home.
According to the police, the reason behind the attack was personal animosity.
The incident took place in Chhatarpur’s Satbari area. According to the complainant, more than 12 men armed with iron rods barged inside the house and began misbehaving with the women.
At the time of the incident, only four women and children were present at the house, while owner of the house had gone for out for some work to Saket.
In the complaint, the victims alleged that the accused persons came inside the house and ransacked it. When the women present in the house tried to stop them, they allegedly misbehaved with them.
One of the women was assaulted so badly that she sustained a fracture in her hand.
According to the police, the victim was taken to All India Institute of Medical Sciences trauma centre where she is currently undergoing medical treatment.

Preliminary investigation reveals that the attack took place because of personal enimity. It was not the first time the family was attacked. In March this year too, the family was attacked where the unruly men had allegedly barged inside the house and had ransacked it.
On Wednesday noon, a call was made to the PCR van who then visited the spot and carried out a probe. Based on the statement of the injured, the police has are looking into case.
