When Sridevi scolded Janhvi

-

Sridevi is a strict mother. The paparazzi also found that out backstage, at a fashion show held in Mumbai recently. Sridevi and daughter Janhvi Kapoor came together and posed for pictures for the shutterbugs. Then, Sridevi was asked to give solo stills, for which she immediately obliged.

The cameramen later asked Janhvi to pose solo. Just as Janhvi took cues, Sridevi immediately told her to leave the photo- op to follow her. “Janhvi pleaded for a split second with her mother, but Sridevi gave her a stern look. The veteran actress took Janhavi’s Senior defence officials and the team of Neeraj Pandey’s film based on the armed forces, Aiyaary, met on Tuesday evening to ensure that changes are made in the film before the film releases.

he Central Board Of Film Certification ( CBFC) board officials were also present at the meeting at the board’s premises, including the presiding officer, Prasoon Joshi. The CBFC had a sevenmember team present to ensure that every issue of the army was sorted before the film was issued the revising committee ( RC)’ s certificate.

After the film was not passed in the first round by the CBFC, it had been sent to the RC. “There were words like b***** d in the film which had to be muted. The CBFC still mobile phone away and asked her to walk off quietly. Janhvi felt very sheepish and also apologised through gestures to her friends in the media, and left,” says an eyewitness.

Janhvi is about to make her debut soon in the Karan Johar produced Dhadak, and mother Sridevi does not want too much exposure for her daughter at the moment. It can be recalled that Sridevi would often be accompanied by her mother Rajeswari at most public dos, and would be strictly kept in check. Well, some habits are hereditary.

— Sanskriti Media does not allow these words. Only after the said changes — including the ones made according to the specifications provided by the defence ministry officials — were takenm was the certificate issued as U/ A,” says our source.

Aiyaary has been postponed to February 16, after they realised that the certification would take more time than anticipated. — Sanskriti Media
