Itanagar: Army Chief General Bipin Rawat has assured Arunachal Pradesh of top operational readiness of the Army deployed at the international borders in the north easterm state to take on any challenge to the national security. Gen. Rawat’s gave the assurance to Arunachal governor Brig B. D. Mishra ( Retd) met him in New Delhi on Thursday and discussed about the security issues related to the state, a Raj Bhavan communiqué informed here on Friday. Mr Mishra, who visited the border posts recently, shared his observations with Gen. Rawat, the communique said. — PTI
