Man held for raping minor daughter

Lucknow: A man has been arrested on Friday by the police for allegedly raping his own minor daughter. According to police reports, the incident took place in Joya area of Amroha when the mother of the victim was away to meet her elder daughter and the younger one was alone at home. The father raped the minor girl at night and when the mother returned the following day, the victim narrated the incident to her mother. The mother informed the police after which the father was arrested. SP Amroha, Sudhir Singh said that the victim had been sent for medical examination and further investigations were underway.
