Samsung’s next flagship could get three cameras
Over the last few weeks, there have been a ton of leaks and rumours about the upcoming Samsung flagship — the Galaxy S10. There had been rumblings in the past that suggested that Samsung was going to include a triplecamera system in the handset but there was no word on what type of lenses would be included.
As per a report by GSMArena, the full setup of the cameras have been detailed. The Galaxy S10 will feature a 16MP regular camera that is paired with a 13MP sensor with a telephoto lens alongside a 12MP sensor that will come equipped with a wide- angle lens.
Initially, it was believed that only the S10+ would come equipped with a triple lens setup but now it appears that Samsung will be adding it on to the regularsized handset as well.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 will not be the only handset from the South Korean tech giant to feature the triple- lens system and the report goes on to state that the Galaxy A9 ( 2019) from the Galaxy A portfolio will too come equipped with this feature. If Samsung goes ahead with adding this camera combination on its midrange handset, then it is believed that it will feature a 32MP sensor along with an 8MP and 5MP cameras. As for this handset, there is no word on which sensor will feature a wide- angle or telephoto lens.
Analysts have predicted that more than 10 per cent of smartphones that are going to be manufactured will feature this unconventional and rare triplelens setup in 2019.
