Jawan in­jured in Pak fir­ing on LoC

Srinagar: In­dia and Pak­istan troops on Satur­day clashed again along the Line of Con­trol ( LoC) in Jammu and Kash­mir’s Ra­jouri district, leav­ing, at least, one In­dian sol­dier in­jured. The Army said that the Pak­istani troops re­sorted to ‘ un­pro­voked” fir­ing on the In­dian for­ward posts in Now­shehra sec­tor of the LoC in Ra­jouri. The Army jawan in­jured in the fir­ing was rushed to a mil­i­tary hos­pi­tal in the gar­ri­son town of Ud­ham­pur where his con­di­tion was stated to be ‘ sta­ble’. The Pak­istani troops, the of­fi­cials said, fired small weapons to tar­get In­dian posts in Now­shehra sec­tor.
