Bei­jing to get 2nd in­ter­na­tional air­port

Bei­jing: Chi­nese cap­i­tal Bei­jing will have its sec­ond in­ter­na­tional air­port ready by next year to cope with the grow­ing rush, a me­dia re­port said on Satur­day. Bei­jing Dax­ing In­ter­na­tional Air­port will open on Septem­ber 30 next year, and will be lo­cated at the junc­tion of Dax­ing district and Lang­fang, a city in North China’s He­bei Prov­ince. About 93 per cent of the ground­work has been com­pleted, and the air­field project will be com­pleted by May 2019, state- run Xin­hua news agency re­ported. The ter­mi­nals are now un­der­go­ing in­te­rior dec­o­ra­tion and the in­stal­la­tion of electro­mechan­i­cal equip­ment, with the in­te­rior to be com­pleted by April 2019, said the Civil Avi­a­tion Ad­min­is­tra­tion of China.
