EX- BUREAUCRAT LAUNCHES POLITICAL PARTY

-

Bhopal: Retired Madhya Pradesh cadre IAS officer Hiralal Trivedy on Tuesday launched a political party, named ‘ Samanya Pichda and Alpasankhyak varga Karmachargi Sanstha’ ( SAPAKS), with an objective to fight reservation system. SAPAKS, floated earlier as a social organisation to fight for the causes of upper caste and religious minority employees of MP government, has been turned into a political party to enter into the fray in the year- end Assembly elections in the wake of Centre amending the SC, ST Act to provisions of the law more stringent. “The newly floated SAPAKS party will field candidates in all the 230 Assembly seats in the upcoming polls in MP. Our key poll promises would be to repeal the amended SC, ST ( prevention of atrocities) Act, and do away with the reservation in promotions in the government jobs,” said Hiralal Trivedy. He also announced eight office bearers including three vice- presidents and two general secretaries of the party. SAPAKS may influence upper caste and OBC voters, particularly government employees, he added.
