Deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia informed that the Archaeology Department of the Delhi government is restoring a number of heritage monuments in the city. The government will also organise a free Sufi concert on October 7 for the public, inviting them to visit the monument at Gol Gumbad. These monuments will be illuminated for a period of seven days from 7 pm to 11 pm. “Delhi’s architectural heritage must be preserved, however, that will only happen if we build a relationship with this heritage. These monuments are not merely selfie points. They carry lessons from history.
