A WELCOME ORDER

-

IN A landmark judgment, the Supreme Court is reported to have held that the political leaders or outfits which call for agitation have to pay for damage caused by violence to public property. Agitation and protests have become the order of the day, of late. These agitations and protests disrupt the life of the common man. Bandhs, rail and road roko have become common. The judgment is welcome but it should have come with a rider that protests and agitations must be held in a designated place and not extended to the entire city or state. Sravana Ramachandran
