Encounter near Najafgarh

Three gangsters were arrested following an encounter in Najafgarh area. The trio were allegedly planning to eliminate a rival gangster, Manjit Mahal.

The arrested were identified as Nakul Sangwan, Tarun, and Rohit Gahlawat.

The police said it had received a tip- off that a wanted gangster, Vikas, was in Najafgarh area at gangster Kapil Sangwan alias Nandu’s house with his associates. Subsequently, a trap was laid and a raid was conducted.

The accused somehow got to know about the cops in the area. The three sneaked out of the house and tried to abscond. However, they were unaware of the fact that they were surrounded by the sleuths.

The accused had opened fire after seeing the police party.
