Hyderabad Under 23 fast bowler Karthikeya Kak continued his top form by taking his third successive five- wicket haul on Saturday. Karthikeya snared 5 for 33 as Assam were bowled out for a mere 118 in the first innings of their Col. C. K. Nayudu Trophy league match being played at the Gymkhana ground here. The right- armer bowled 16.3 overs, seven of which were maiden, after Hyderabad won the toss and elected to field. In the previous match against Karnataka, he had taken matchwinning haul of 15 wickets.
