GIRL ENDS LIFE AFTER FIGHT WITH SISTER OVER CLOTHES

Fight between two sisters over clothes claimed the life of one of them at Baro village in Kendrapara district.

The deceased, identified as Monalisha, was an ardent learner of classical music and studying in Kasinath Mohavidyalaya at Kaipada in Jajpur.

Sources said Monalisha and her younger sister were learning classical music at Bhabagrahi Kala Niketan at Kendrapara. Both were supposed to go to Cuttack with their teacher at around 11 AM on Sunday. However, the duo started fighting over clothes.

In a fit of rage, Monalisha on Sunday attempted to commit suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling of the house. She was immediately rushed to the district hospital and later shifted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital, where doctors declared her dead.
