Chirag Paul and Pranay Puri with net scores of 72.6 and 72.4 walked away with the winner’s trophy at the Madhav Rao Scindia golf tournament at the DLF Golf & Country Club in Gurugram on Saturday. The Madhav Rao Scindia is a unique charity golf tournament to raise funds, which is used to support social development projects undertaken by the Madhav Rao Scindia foundation, the hosts for the tournament.

Along with the trophy both Chirag and Pranay also get an opportunity to represent India at the prestigious ‘ Duke of Edinburgh World Finals’ at the exotic Windsor Castle later this year.

The tournament saw participation from over 100 golfers from Delhi and NCR, which also included former cricketers Murali Karthik and Madan Lal.

In the other on course competitions, Manav Sardana walked away with the ‘ Trinity Longest Drive’ contest while Ricky Jaswal won the ‘ Best Gross winner’ award with an excellent round of 77. Besides the individual prize categories the tournament also featured the “Skins” format, which produced results on every hole, and is a fast paced entertaining format rarely seen in golf tournaments in India.
