JOSIAH AND LAUREN REVEAL SHE HAD A MISCARRIAGE

Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson opened up about a tragedy they experienced in October, when they lost the child they wanted so badly in a miscarriage.

Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson were over the moon when they found out she was pregnant with their first child.

The couple, who were married in June 2018, revealed in a preview for the next season of Counting On that they were heartbroken to find out that Lauren suffered a miscarriage in October.

"Lauren and I were actually preparing for a trip to go to a friend's wedding," Josiah, 22, says in the Counting On preview. "She started feeling really sick and started noticing some different things. Mrs. Swanson was there, so she was able to help her out. I didn't know exactly what was going on." Poor Lauren, who is just 19 years old, breaks down in tears as she describes what happened to her. "I wasn't feeling well. I was cramping really, really bad, which was quite strange because I normally don't. I was thinking maybe I had something that had gluten in it. It was late at night and I went to use the restroom and there was the baby. Gone. I couldn't believe it and I was hoping it wasn't true." You can watch the preview clip HERE. Josiah and Lauren's fans suspected she was pregnant in August 2018, after the couple posted a cute pic that showed Josiah smiling wide while looking down at her stomach.

They were right. It's an adorable pic no matter what, but fans knew that
