Microsoft has promised to support more than 100 games for Xbox Game Pass on PC. Microsoft is gearing up to unveil its plans for the nextgeneration Xbox at E3. Well, its daily countdown for E3 seems to suggest so as the company has been hiding secret message that eagle-eyed fans have spotted, say reports.

The company, via its countdown videos, teased Project Scarlett — the codename for two new Xboxs. While the high-end next-gen Xbox is said to be codenamed Anaconda and a Xbox One S equivalent codenamed Lockhart.

Well, the messages — R 255, G 36 and B 0 — together forms the RGB colour code (255,36,0) for Scarlet were hidden in the left-hand side of the videos.

To further fuel the speculations, Microsoft even confirmed the teaser by providing a free month of Xbox Game Pass to the Twitter user, Cr8Beyond, who discovered the easter egg.

Moreover, the company, two years ago, had pulled a similar stunt, where they took a dig at PlayStation 4 Pro’s 4 teraflops of power, to talk about its Project Scorpio that later became the Xbox One X console.

While Microsoft, which takes a cue from Sony to unveil PS5 specs, will be reveal the specs for the next-generation Xbox. Alongside the Scarlett unveiling, Microsoft will also show off Gears 5 and Bleeding Edge, Ninja Theory’s new title.

Microsoft is also expecting to touch on some of its plans for gaming on PC. It has teased a new Xbox “desktop experience” for Windows 10, and a new Xbox app should debut in beta very shortly.

Pricing of Xbox Game Pass for PC revealed

Ahead of its E3 event, Microsoft published its Xbox Game Pass for PC pricing. The subscription service will be available at $4.99 per month, with access to at least 10 games during the beta phase. Gears 5, which Microsoft lists as “coming soon,” is part of the Xbox Game Pass for PC, alongside titles like Halo: The Masterchief Collection.

Microsoft is expected to launch a beta version for $1 per month until it’s launched more generally. Like its console counterpart, Xbox Game Pass for PC will allow Windows 10 users to download games from the subscription service and play

them both online and offline.
