LATE REALISATION

SENIOR CONGRESS leaders, Jairam Ramesh and Abhishek Manu Singhvi, have rejected demonisation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying that acts and policies must be judged issue-wise. What a belated realisation. Prior to the last general election, then Congress president Rahul Gandhi had relentlessly demonised Mr Modi day in and day out; yet, his party, for the second time in succession, failed to win enough seats to have a Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha.
