A GLASS OF WINE BEFORE BED CAN HELP WEIGHT LOSS, SAYS STUDY

London: If you’ve ever felt a little twinge of guilt about the calorific content of a glass of wine , then new findings from the University of Alberta in Canada may help to ease that guilt, the Mirror reported.

In short, a glass of red wine equals an hour in the gym.Research conducted by Jason Dyck from the university found that health benefits in resveratro­l, a compound found in red wine, are like those we get from exercise. Resveratro­l works because it acts to prevent fat cells from gaining more fat. The findings have been backed up by scientists from Washington State University and Harvard.
