D’Souza, Halder to represent India

Bengaluru: David D’Souza and Digboloi Halder will represent India at ‘The Duke of Edinburgh Cup’ World Finals Golf. They scored 36 points each in the Bengaluru leg of the India edition at the Prestige Golfshire Club. The Bengaluru duo, with a score of 72 points, edged past Hyderabad’s Shashidhar Reddy (38) and former India cricketer Venkatapathy Raju’s (32) team score of 70 to emerge victorious amongst a total of 100 golfers representing Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mysore and Pune. The World Finals will be hosted at the private golf course of the Royal Family at Windsor Castle, London from September 29 to October 3.
