Panther, Sona Polo enter final

Jindal Panther beat Sahara Warriors by 7 goals to 6 and Sona Polo eased past Cavalry-Krishna Polo by 11 goals to 5 in semifinals of the Maharaja Sir Pratap Singh Cup (14 Goal) Polo tournament, a prestigiou­s tournament of Delhi Fall Polo Season, at the Jaipur Polo Ground in the capital on Friday.

First semifinal of the tournament was played between Jindal Panther and Sahara Warriors was a hard fought match. Daniel Otamandi scored opening goal and Salim Azmi added one more goal for Jindal Panther in 1st chukker while Satinder Garcha opened the account for Sahara Warriors in 2nd chukker and Chris Mackenzie added one more goal. Simran Shergill converted a 60 yard penalty and Otamandi scored one goal for Jindal Panther. In the 3rd chukker Otamandi converted a 40 yard penalty while Sahara Warriors could not score any goal in that chukker. In the 4th chukker Shergill again converted a 60 yard penalty and Naveen Jindal scored a goal for Jindal Panther while Chri Mackenzie scored two goals for Warriros. The score was 7 goals to 4 in the favour of Panther. In the

5th chukker Chrish Mackenzie scored two goals for Warriors to reduce the margin 6 goals to 7.

The finals will be played on Sunday at Jaipur Polo Ground
