Salman plays safe

With his home productions faring badly at the box-office, the actor is keen to work with other producers

-

Salman Khan isn’t picking up his home productions to work on for a while now. His last venture Dabangg 3 wasn’t really up to the mark and

Bharat despite doing well, didn’t set the box-office registers ringing like Tiger Zinda

Hai. His other home productions where he launched newcomers, star kids and kids of friends with films such as

Hero and Notebook have also performed disastrously. This is perhaps why Salman wants to stop multitasking and work with producers who know their jobs really well.

“Sajid Nadiadwala has been a producer for the longest time and shares a great camaraderie with Salman as well. Sajid is also like family to the Khans and hence Salman has entrusted both his releases after Radhe to Sajid Nadiadwala. Sajid’s film

Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali will be Salman’s next release after Radhe and then there will be Kick, again produced as well as directed by Sajid himself,” says a source. The actor is also collaborating with Sooraj Barjatya and will soon start filming once he wraps up his other commitments.

Salman is currently shuttling between Goa and Mumbai shooting for his film and was recently in the news when he snatched a phone from one of the airline employees at Goa airport who was trying to take his picture.

Our source goes on to add that Salman spreading himself thin has basically resulted in the films not reaching its destiny and hence the actor may now still try and reconcile with Sanjay Leela Bhansali to do another film. Well, Inshallah!
