There is a new kind of pandemic on social media. This is an infectious disease that has its roots in fashion. There is no medium more potent than Insta or even its now almost poor cousin FB, where celebs are born virtually every day. It doesn’t take much to be an Insta star.

Good looks, great curves and a stylish wardrobe with some new age gyan thrown in is all you require. Take Kylie Jenner, the Kardashian sibling whose botoxed induced luscious lips; an 18th birthday gift made her the new online star. The youngest member of Keeping up with the Kardashian­s brood astutely launched her lip line products raking in millions of dollars purely on the basis of capitalisi­ng on those nubile good looks.

Nope, there is no moral high ground path in this story. The funda in the glamourous world of fashion and showbiz is simple: Have it, flaunt it.
