THE SHOCKING video of a young woman found dead on a platform at Muzaffarpur railway station has gone viral. This newspaper published a moving illustration of that incident in its edition dated May 29. The caption of the illustration, in the form of an imaginary speech bubble placed in the mouth of her young one, who, in reality, had kept pulling at her blanket to wake her, read, mother, your train is late by a lifetime. It took a tragedy to humanise one person, and only one person, before our eyes. Bhagwan Thadani
