Working out from home can be an enjoyable experience, but it is important to protect yourself from injuries. “If someone is a complete beginner with respect to working out, then knowing whereto start and when to stop becomes very important. Not getting the form right could lead to a muscle tear, muscle pull, twist, overextension, etc. You could put your weight on a part that isn’t strong, for e.g. your wrist or neck, not knowing the contraindications of a particular workout. People should also be aware of what adequate exercise and overexercise means. Warm-up and cool-down sessions are also necessary in order to avoid workout injuries,” cautions Luke.
