- LIPIKA VARMA

Madhuri Dixit-Nene has always impressed the audience with her versatile acting prowess and her dancing skills. The actor has now added another feather to her cap by venturing into production with Marathi film Panchank, which is in post-production stage right now. “I acted in a Marathi film in 2018 and now I am producing one. We still have to complete the entire post-production. But we are not unduly worried about its release,” she says adding that even her dance reality show Dance Deewane which is typically shot in the month of May has been on hold. “Owing to the pandemic outbreak and the lockdown, everything is on hold,” she adds. Madhuri will also be seen in a Netflix show for which she had already started shooting before the pandemic broke out. When asked what her role entails, she says, “I can’t reveal anything about the title or even my character as the makers were supposed to announce this, so let’s wait for the right time.” The actor who has seen her share of ups and downs in her career believes that hardships are a part and parcel of life. “Everybody goes through a situation when everything is going against you. There are so many hardships that you can’t overcome. It’s then you dig deep and say to yourself ‘I am going to be stronger than what I am and I am going to rise because this happens in everyone’s life. You as an actor too have to be strong and overcome all the odds,” she concludes.
