SHE’S NOT THE ONLY ONE

-

Many actresses have been at the receiving end of the ire of fans of popular male stars from Tollywood. Sadly, the actors never reprimand their fans. Here are a few examples:

SAMANTHA TROLLED BY MAHESH BABU’S FANS

Actress Samantha had commented about a still from Mahesh Babu’s film 1:

Nenokkadine, describing it as “highly regressive”. She said “Saw a poster of a yet to be released Telugu film. It’s deeply regressive.”

This prompted fans of Mahesh Babu to attack her on social media. The actor remained mum, though he and Samantha are good friends. Only much later, Mahesh Babu said, “Sorry if it hurts anyone’s feelings”.

ANASUYA ATTACKED FOR CRITICISING ALLU ARJUN

Popular anchor and actress Anasuya was trolled by Allu Arjun’s fans after she made some comments about him after seeing his debut film Gangotri.

She had said Allu Arjun wasn’t looking good in his debut film, but had transformed himself and looked remarkably well in his next film, Arya.

The actor’s fans showered abuses on her. Allu Arjun didn’t react.

Earlier, fans of Pawan Kalyan too had abused and trolled her because she rejected the offer of a special song in the film Atharintiki

Daredi opposite their idol.

TAAPSEE PANNU CAUGHT ON THE WRONG FOOT REGARDING K. RAGHAVENDRA RAO

Taapsee Pannu, in an interview to a YouTube channel, had made a remark about her director K. Raghavendra Rao’s obsession with the midriff and navel. The actress had said that in her debut film, directed by Raghavendra Rao, a coconut had been thrown at her midriff. What was so sensuous about that, she wondered, sending the audience into gales of laughter. The director’s fans felt she was making fun of Raghavendra Rao and hence trolled and abused her for her comments.
