- AGE CORRESPONDENT

BJP national vice president Shyam Jaju and North Delhi Mayor Jai Prakash on Friday inaugurated Deendayal Covid care centre in Balak Ram Hospital of the North Delhi Municipal Corporation.

Mr Jaju said that a 100beds facility is available in this Covid centre developed for citizens in the national capital whose homes are very small and who cannot go in-home isolation in case of infection. “Deputy chief minister had said that by July 31, there will be 5.5 lakh corona patients in the city, due to which there will be a shortage of beds, doctors and nurses in hospitals. The deputy chief minister had created an atmosphere of fear in Delhi. After which Union home minister Amit Shah took command of Delhi under his leadership. Facilities available in Balak Ram Hospital of North Delhi Municipal Corporation are better than any private hospital,” Mr Jaju added.

Mayor, Mr Jai Prakash said that even in this phase of corona transition, North Corporation has worked day and night for the citizens despite the economic crisis. He alleged that North Corporation has supported the Delhi government in every way, but the AAP government did not provide any kind of assistance to the civic body.

Commissioner of North Corporation, Gyanesh Bharti said that the civic body has developed a 300-bed facility at its hospital Hindu Rao and has done 37,000 rapid antigen tests and lifting biomedical waste from different areas.
